“Zavarovalnica Sava” Koroška Open 2021

In 2020 we should have celebrated 15 years since the first Koroška Open tournament, which was a small event for our local clubs. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 crisis, this anniversary has been pushed to 2021. Since its beginnings, our tournament has grown into one of the biggest competitions for cadets (U18) and younger cadets (U16) in the region. In 2016 we hosted almost 1000 competitors from 33 countries and 3 continents.

The 15th Koroška Open will be held on 16 and 17 October 2021. As every year up till now, we expect a high-class event with more than 600 athletes from over 30 countries of the world

The competition will be broadcast live over the internet, as it has been for the past 5 years, so your judoka’s friends and family can watch and cheer from home.

After the competition, from Monday, 18 October to Wednesday, 20 October a training camp will be organized for all competitors. As every year up til now, we expect most of the participants to stay for the camp.
